We provide our clients with contemporary, custom designs and even produce fabric structures on short notice when required.
What happens once you choose your tent type and it’s time to install?
Installation is a critical step in the construction process and one where the expertise and professionalism of our crews is the most visible. As seasoned tent manufacturers, we provide thorough on the job training for all crew members, and many of our personnel have received training from the IFAI Tent Rental Division.

WHAT SIZE TENT RENTAL DO I NEED FOR MY TENT?
The size of the tent rental you need depends on your event’s guest count and layout. For example, a seated dinner typically requires 15 square feet per person, while theater seating needs about 7 square feet per person. Contact us for a customized tent rental recommendation based on your specific event.
HOW LONG CAN I KEEP MY TENT RENTAL?
Our tent rental periods are flexible and can be customized to your needs. Whether you need the tent rental for a single day or an entire week, we can accommodate your schedule. Installation typically occurs a day or two before your event.
ARE THERE ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR WEEKEND TENT RENTAL INSALLATIONS OR DISMANTLES?
Yes, there may be additional charges for tent rental installations or dismantles outside of regular business hours, including weekends. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred times and avoid extra fees.

Yes, in addition to tent rentals, we offer a full range of event rentals, including tables, chairs, linens, and more. You can customize your event setup by adding these items to your tent rental package. Only available when renting from our Chattanooga location.
WHAT CONDITION SHOULD RENTED ITEMS LIKE CHINA AND GLASSWARE BE IN UPON RETURN?
When returning rented items with your tent rental, such as china and glassware, they should be scraped of food or rinsed off if possible, but they do not need to be washed. We take care of all cleaning and maintenance to ensure a smooth tent rental experience.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY TENT RENTAL?
We recommend booking your tent rental as early as possible, especially during peak event seasons (spring, summer, and fall). Ideally, you should book your tent rental at least 3-6 months in advance to ensure availability and secure your preferred tent style and size.

A Frame Tent is a type of tent rental that is supported by a sturdy frame structure, offering unobstructed interior space with no center poles. This tent rental option is ideal for events where open space is a priority, and it can be anchored with stakes or weights, depending on the surface.
WHAT IS A HIGH PEAK TENT?
A High Peak Tent is a tent rental option that features a peaked roof supported by minimal interior poles, providing a spacious and elegant interior. This tent rental style combines structural support with the aesthetic appeal of a peaked roof, making it perfect for weddings and upscale events.
WHAT IS A CLEAR SPAN STRUCTURE?
A Clear Span Structure is a tent rental that offers a wide-open interior with no interior poles, making it ideal for large events. This versatile tent rental option can be equipped with sidewalls, interior liners, and climate control, and it is designed to withstand high winds. Don’t confuse the term “Clear Span” with Clear Roof Covers. Clear Roof Covers are a great option for cooler event months, bringing an exciting level of elegance to your event.

A Pole Tent is a traditional and economical tent rental option supported by central poles and guy lines. This classic tent rental style is available in various sizes and is perfect for a wide range of events, from small gatherings to large parties.
WHAT IS A NAUTICAL TENT?
A Nautical Tent, specifically our Stillwater sailcloth tent, is a tent rental with a nautical theme featuring wood-stained poles and translucent tops. This tent rental is perfect for events with a coastal or elegant theme and is available in different widths to suit various event sizes.
CAN TENTS BE SET UP ON ANY SURFACE?
Yes, tents can be set up on various surfaces, including grass, concrete, asphalt, and more. However, the anchoring method for your tent rental may vary depending on the surface. During your consultation, we will assess the setup location and determine the best anchoring method, whether stakes, weights, or water barrels.
WHAT IF THERE'S INCLEMENT WEATHER DURING MY EVENT?
Our tents are designed to withstand various weather conditions, but in the event of severe weather, we’ll work with you to ensure safety. We offer options like sidewalls and additional anchoring for added protection. If weather conditions become too dangerous, we will advise on postponing or rescheduling your tent rental setup.

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED SQUARE FOOTAGE REQUIRED FOR EACH OF THE CHATTANOOGA EVENT RENTALS TENTS?
A seated dinner with 5' round tables: 15 square ft per person. A seated dinner with 8' round tables: 12 square ft per person. Theater seating: 7 square ft per person. A dance area: 5 square ft per person. A bar area: 100 square ft. Speakers platform: 12 square ft per person. Bandstand: 10 square ft per person plus instruments.
WHAT ARE THE GENERAL RULES OF THUMB FOR THE FOLLOWING?
Banquet Style Seating: When using oblong tables, divide the room area (sq. ft.) by 12. When using round tables, divide the room area (sq. ft.)by 15. These figures are for maximum seating. If space is available for more comfortable seating, allow an extra 2 sq. ft. per person.
Classroom Style Seating: Divide student seating area (sq. ft.) by 10.
Theater Style Seating: Divide spectator seating area (sq. ft.) by 7.
This method of calculation allows for chair and passage aisles. It does not allow for problems caused by wide traffic aisles, location of columns, service doors or unique room shapes. HOW ARE TABLETOP ITEMS RENTED? AS GROUPED SETS OR INDIVIDUAL PIECES?”
For Chattanooga event rentals, tabletop items such as china, glassware, and flatware are made available individually, rather than in sets. So, we ask that a client specify which forks or knives or spoons they like, as opposed to a whole flatware set. Clients also specify which plates or bowls they would like. As for glassware, we typically sell that by the rack. Our rack sizes range from 16 in a rack to 36 in a rack. I always recommend getting more than you need. You will always have guests that don’t reuse their glass and get a second one.
WHAT TABLE SIZES ARE AVAILABLE AND HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT AT CERTAIN TABLES?
Clients are welcome to visit the showroom to discuss this more specifically for your unique situation, but as a general rule, the 6-foot banquet table accommodates 6-8 guests and the 8-foot banquet table works for 8-10 people. The 30-inch round is intended for 2-4 people, the 36-inch table is great for groupings of 4 people at each one, then the 48-inch round table accommodates 6-8 people, and finally, the 60-inch round table typically seats 8-10 people.
DO LINENS COME WITH CHATTANOOGA TABLE RENTALS?
No, linens are rented separately for Chattanooga event rentals.
